Protan SE-B Secret Fix Strip is a prefabricated membrane made of Protan SE-B with secret strips welded across the width on the underside of the membrane. The secret strips can be ordered with individual distance from a minimum of 400mm to a maximum distance of 1200mm. The system is designed to optimize the fastening density of the membrane by distributing the fixings across the roll instead of fixation along the longitudinal edge of the membrane roll.Protan SE-B is a high-quality polyester reinforced thermoplastic (PVC-P) waterproofing membrane with high tensile and tear strength. The membrane satisfies BASTA's requirements for the selection of raw materials. It contains stabilizers, which makes the product resistant to high and low temperatures, UV-resistant and flame retardant.

Protan Secret Fix Strip is well suited for exposed roof projects where the roof surfaces are particularly exposed to wind and / or there is a requirement for fast installation time. Use of Protan Secret Fix Strip is a fast and safe way to cover large roof surfaces and in particular the roof's corner and edge zones if there are few penetrations in the roof. The actual secret strip material used in Protan Secret Fix Strip has a higher strength than the roof covering itself and contributes to an optimal attachment of the roof membrane. It is particularly well suited for roofing on corrugated steel decks with wide profiles or large profile spacing. The use of Protan Secret Fix Strip can provide significant savings in relation to standard overlap where, due to wind conditions, one is limited to using 1m wide and narrower sheets.
