Protan SE is a high-quality polyester reinforced thermoplastic (PVC-P) waterproofing membrane with high tensile and tear strength. Protan SE contains stabilizers, which makes the product resistant to high and low temperatures, UV-resistant and flame retardant.Protan SEPrefabriccated sheets w/longitudinal strips is a roofing system where roof membrane of Protan SE are welded together in larger units, ie sheets with underlying, longitudinal strips. To obtain an optimal mechanical fixing, the strips are factory welded to the underside of the sheets with a predetermined individual distance. The distance of the strips can be varied based on how exposed the building is to the wind and the calculated need for fastening density. However, there are standardized variants that will suit most projects.

Protan SE Prefabriccated sheets w/longitudinal secret strips are ideal for roofing on large roof surfaces without too many obstacles such as roof lights and different types of penetrations. The system is particularly favorable on roofs that are extra wind exposed, where otherwise with a standard overlap system it would have been necessary to install 1m wide sheets or narrower. Large roof areas can be covered quickly with minimal welding work on the construction site itself using Protan prefabriccated sheets with longitudinal flip. The sheets enable quick assembly as large units of the roof membrane are laid in one operation and this significantly reduces the welding work.
