Protan construction tape is a universal tape of the type: DUCT TAPE with a single-sided adhesive layer, with a core of UV-stabilized polyethylene foil and silicone paper as a protective layer.

Protan construction tape is suitable for many sealing tasks in buildings. It is particularly suitable for joining vapour and wind barriers. With increasing requirements for building tightness, vapour and wind barriers must be taped to meet the airtightness requirements. In addition, the vapour barrier must be taped to parapets, terminations and vertical penetrations to ensure a vapour-tight layer. The surface to which it is adhered must be dry, clean and free of dust, dirt and grease. The adhesive material remains elastic over time. There should be no tension in the adhesive surface after installation. Construction tape shall not be used to hold together materials where the adhesive surface is subjected to continuous loading.
